Design Week 2014 Chelsea Harbour

Interior Designer Nina Campbell signing Daisy's copy of "Interiors"

It's Design Week in London Town and once again the Harbour is a hive of activity with the showrooms launching their latest collections as well as lectures from industry professionals, workshops and of course, copious amounts Champagne being consumed. More on the new collections later but for me the highlight this year was getting my copy of Nina Campbell's latest book "Interiors" signed by the lady herself.

We have a few friends in the industry who have made curtains for Nina and they've always sung her praises and said what a joy she is to work with and I can certainly believe it after meeting her today. Although our encounter was short she came across as a lovely lady who I would have loved to have spent more time chatting to. Sadly with a queue of eager fans behind me I barely had time to complement her on the fabulous pair of heart-shaped, frameless spectacles she was wearing which a lesser mortal could certainly not have pulled off!

The book walks the reader through some of Nina's recent projects ranging from a town house in New York to a large residence in China to a family home just outside London. All of which of course with beautiful curtains and soft furnishings as you would expect from this highly influential designer. A must buy for anyone looking for curtain, blind or interior inspiration.
